Frequently asked questions

Answers about setup, scan allowances and your results.

Do I need a Google Business Profile?

You need a Google account with management access to connect locations and read their Business Profile performance and reviews. Website SEO can check a public website from your active workspace without connecting that website to Google.

Can I manage more than one location?

Yes. Each workspace supports multiple locations within its subscription limit. The pricing page lists the current capacity for each plan.

Why is my data not up to today?

Google data can arrive with a delay. Check both the sync status and the data-through date. A successful sync does not mean Google has already published today’s metrics.

Why are search terms shown by month?

Search terms are reported for completed months. They do not follow the daily performance timeline, so compare equivalent periods when interpreting the two.

How do I enable Maps scans and weekly scans?

Scans are off by default for each location, including newly imported locations. Complete its Maps settings, enable it and save, then start a scan. Weekly scans have a separate switch: when enabled, they use saved settings every Monday at 09:00 in the workspace time zone and count toward the same Maps allowance. Turning a location off stops new scans; accepted scans can still finish.

Why does a Maps scan differ from what I see on Google?

Each point is a snapshot for a particular keyword, search position, language, device and time. Coverage counts organic Maps listings across completed points, excluding ads. Confirm your business before reading coverage and compare matching settings. A business not found within the returned results is different from a point that could not be checked.

How are Maps points and website pages counted?

They are separate monthly allowances shared across the workspace. A single-point Maps scan uses 1 point; 3×3, 5×5 and 7×7 grids use 9, 25 and 49. For example, 500 points cover twenty 5×5 scans spread across any of your locations. One specified website page uses 1 website page. Check remaining allowances on each scan page and plan totals on the pricing page; allowances reset by UTC calendar month.

Why does my allowance show reserved points or pages?

An active scan reserves its Maps points or selected maximum website pages so other scans cannot use them at the same time. After a successful website crawl, unused reserved pages are released. For partial or unsuccessful scans, some allowance may already have been used; check the final scan status and usage.

Do I need to keep the page open while a scan runs?

No. You can leave and return to the scan page to check progress. Maps results usually arrive within a few minutes, with larger grids or busy periods taking longer. The page updates automatically while open, and you can use Refresh results. Completed Maps points and previous website reports remain available. Avoid submitting another scan while waiting; follow the displayed next step if a scan needs review or fails.

Can I compare any competitor, and does comparison use extra points?

Choose 1–5 businesses returned in the latest completed Maps scan for that location. Comparison reuses that scan and uses no extra Maps points. Confirm your own business first; if an old selection is absent from the current results, update the selection. Coverage compares completed points from the same scan.

Can I scan just one page instead of a whole website?

Yes. Select One specified page and enter the full URL, such as your location or service page. It uses 1 website page and has its own scan history. Website crawl starts at the homepage, defaults to up to 10 pages and lets you choose up to 100 within your remaining allowance. That limit is a maximum, not a promise to check every page on the site.

What does Website SEO check, and how should I use the findings?

Checks include page titles, descriptions, main headings (H1), canonical links, HTTP errors, broken internal links and indexing directives; available local-business markup can also be checked. Start with higher-severity issues, review the evidence and scan the same pages after fixing them. Content loaded by JavaScript is not included. No issues on the checked pages does not confirm Google indexing or guarantee better rankings.

Which reports can I create, and do they use scan allowance?

Choose Google Business Profile, Maps rankings, local competitors or website SEO. SEO reports use a completed saved scan and preserve its scope. Creating a report does not start a new scan or use your Maps or website allowance.

Can I export reports and keep them?

Yes. Reports offer Print / Save as PDF and direct PDF download. Saved reports in the workspace expire after 20 days; export your copy before then if you need to retain it.

How should I use AI insights?

Insights summarize the available data to help you identify patterns and next steps. Review the source data and your business context before acting; suggestions do not guarantee rankings, traffic or revenue.

Does the workspace support Chinese and English?

Yes. Use the language switcher in the top bar. Report language and branding options are available in the reporting workflow and settings.

Will later syncs change my selected metrics template?

No. New locations receive one automatic selection when their business category is first retrieved successfully. Any manually saved choice is preserved, including general metrics. Later syncs only refresh the recommendation; you choose whether to select and save it.

Why did my existing location not switch to an industry template?

Locations added before this feature launched keep their existing metrics template, including those that have never synced. After a category sync, review the recommendation under Action metrics in location settings and save a choice. It affects only the location detail page; overview metrics stay the same.

Where can I see current prices?

The pricing page shows current monthly and annual options, location limits and scan allowances. Confirm the price and currency at checkout. Contact us if you need help choosing a plan.

How do cancellation and refunds work?

The workspace owner can stop automatic renewal from Settings → Subscription in the Stripe portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. First purchases have a 7-day refund window; a refund request is separate from cancellation. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy linked in the footer for eligibility and the request process.
