Website SEO & specified pages
Find actionable issues on your website or one location page, then check your fixes.
- 1Choose website or page
- 2Check progress
- 3Review & fix
A specified page uses 1 website page. A website crawl checks up to your chosen limit.
- 1Open Website SEO from the workspace navigation to scan a website. From a location, the Website SEO shortcut defaults to its specified page. Enter a public HTTP or HTTPS URL.
- 2Choose Website crawl or One specified page. A crawl starts at the homepage and defaults to up to 10 pages, within your remaining allowance; you can choose up to 100. For one page, enter its complete URL, including the path and any query parameters.
- 3Check your website-page allowance before starting. A specified page uses 1 page; a crawl reserves the selected maximum and releases unused pages after it succeeds. Maps points are separate.
- 4Follow the queued, scanning and preparing-report stages. You can leave and return later; the previous completed report stays available. Website and specified-page scans have separate histories.
- 5Review issues by severity, open the evidence and follow the fix suggestions. Scan the same pages again after making changes. Checks cover retrieved page content; content loaded by JavaScript and pages outside the crawl are not included. A single-page result does not describe the whole website.
